If you love animals this is the place for you, Whipsnade is the home to over 10,000 spectacular animals spread over 600 acres of parkland. Don’t worry if the thought of that’s making you tired you can simply jump on the Jumbo Express steam train to help you get around so you don’t have to miss a things no matter where in the zoo it’s located.
There’s so much to see and do from Cheetah Rock and Giraffe Heights to Passage through Asia and Lions of the Serengeti. Visit lions, tigers, rhinos, elephants, zebra, hippos, and giraffes in their large outdoor enclosures. Don’t miss the rockhopper and African black-footed residents of the penguin pool, with its surrounding countryside views. No trip to the zoo is complete with treating yourself to a visit to see the herd of majestic Asian elephants.
There’s also the Hullabazoo adventure play area, allowing the little ones to climb new heights! When’s it’s time to refuel and refresh there’s the Base Camp restaurant and Viewpoint Kitchen and Deli to keep you going!
